As we count down the days to the carol concert, David Kingsley is practising his scales and digging out those musical scores. He will be leading rehearsals on 8th December and again on 15th December around midday. Sadly Helen Earey is not available for the carol concert this year. We will miss her very much, but we are delighted to announce that the Canute singers will still be performing. If you would like to contribute to the carol concert, we would really appreciate mince pies for the interval or any donations you could make to hamper that will be first prize in the raffle. For example, do you have a nice packet of biscuits that are languishing in the back of the cupboard? Or maybe someone gave you a box of chocolates that you haven’t got round to eating? Perhaps a generous soul has given you a bottle of wine … but you don’t drink? Are you a home cook who makes cakes, jams or chutneys? This would make an excellent contribution to the hamper. If none of these apply to you, that’s okay! Just come and join us on the 15th. In this cold December weather, you know you will get a warm welcome at Thornycroft.
