There is something magical about bread making, the feeling of satisfaction when it comes out from the oven and that lovely smell in the kitchen!
But for some, bread making although fascinating, it may seem time-consuming or even too arduous. The good news is that today I am sharing this super speedy and simple two ingredient bread recipe.
All you need is 1 cup of self-raising flour and 1 cup of Greek yoghurt, that is it! Just mix the ingredients together in a bowl adding a pinch of salt as you mix, place onto a floured surface and mix for a couple of minutes.
Divide the dough into 6 portions, using a rolling pin and flour roll out each portion of dough. Place the rolled bread onto a Baking tray.
Preheat the oven to 180C, bake the bread for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve as a perfect accompaniment to curries, the lamb koftas from my previous post
or simply serve with cheese and salads.
For a more adventurous touch, brush with melted butter and sprinkle fresh herbs or spices over the bread before baking.
I hope you give it a go!
